Gains

The Georgia Accounting Information Network Support (GAINS) is a non-profit organization that perpetuates and sustains the State of Georgia school accounting and student information systems. Our members include school system employees, Department of Education employees, and Regional Education Service Agency. The organization's primary objective is to provide current, relevant information to its members, stay abreast of legislation impacting the organization, and offer continuing education to its members.

Services Offered

GAINS offers a variety of services to its members, including providing relevant information on accounting and student information systems, staying updated on legislative changes affecting the organization, and offering continuing education opportunities. The organization also hosts an annual conference, which brings together professionals from across the state to share knowledge and best practices.

Annual Conference

The 2024 GAINS Conference is scheduled for May 2-3, 2024, at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront. The conference will feature keynote speakers, workshops, and networking opportunities for professionals in the field. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront with a special group rate for GAINS members.

Partnerships

GAINS partners with various organizations to enhance its services. These partners include the Georgia Department of Education, Georgia School Boards Association, Georgia School Superintendents Association, and the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts.
