Edward R. Schwab, CPA, is the principal accountant and founder of Edward R. Schwab CPA, a firm based in Carol Stream, Illinois. Mr. Schwab's passion for accounting began early, leading him to earn his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1981. His commitment to lifelong learning is evident in his continued pursuit of professional development through ongoing educational programs and specialized training. He received his certificate to practice public accounting in 1983, marking the beginning of his distinguished career.

Mr. Schwab's professional journey has been marked by a dedication to providing exceptional service and building strong client relationships. His early career involved supervising accounting functions for 130 franchised stores at White Hen Pantry, a division of Jewel Cos. This experience honed his skills in managing complex accounting operations and provided a valuable foundation for his work in public accounting.

In 1985, Mr. Schwab joined Bernstein Hoffman, Ltd., a prominent regional public accounting firm in Chicago. Over a decade, he immersed himself in the intricacies of tax and accounting, expanding his knowledge base and expertise across a wide range of industries and financial matters.
