R.E.J Accounting & Tax Service was established in 1977 by Robert E. Jacob, C.M.A., M.B.A, E.A. Since then, we have specialized in providing accounting services to small service businesses and non-profit organizations. We prepare over 800 individual tax returns and 200 small business and non-profit returns annually.

Our practice has been using Quickbooks since 1991 and we began selling Micro Information Products (MIP) in 1996. We are authorized to represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service in all fifty states, and we have been certified in Online Quickbooks since 2013. Currently, we have 29 online Quickbooks clients, 15 with payroll.

Robert E. Jacob, the owner of R.E.J Accounting & Tax Service, is a Certified Management Accountant (C.M.A) with a B.A from Michigan State University in Accounting and a M.B.A in Management Information Systems from Wayne State University. He is also a Certified Novell Administrator (C.N.A) and an Enrolled Agent (E.A.). Robert is a graduate of the Marygrove College UNIX and C programming certificate program and has taught Novell, UNIX, Microsoft Office, Systems Design and Implementation, Quickbooks, and Accounting at Wayne County Community College.
