Lew Stevenson, CPA

Lew graduated from Western Washington University with degrees in Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Accounting, cum laude. During the heyday of the Alaska pipeline in the mid-70's, Lew worked in both the audit and tax departments of the international accounting firm of, what was then, Ernst and Whinney in Anchorage, Alaska. He then moved back to Bellingham in 1978 to work in the tax department of a large local accounting firm before opening practice with another CPA in 1981. Lew is a past president of the Northwest Chapter of the Washington Society of CPA's and is a member of both the Washington Society of CPA's and the American Institute of CPA's. Lew has written several proprietary guidebooks to assist our clients in their business and affairs, including collections, divorce, business operations, and organizing estate affairs. His next compilation will deal with real estate issues, primarily geared toward rental real estate clients. While not performing professional duties, Lew relaxes by playing basketball or works on repairs to his rental properties.

Julia Stevenson

Julia has worked in the accounting field for over 10 years doing a substantial amount of tax return preparation for individuals, business, and trusts. She also handles most of the trial balance work in converting from accrual to cash basis. While not doing accounting work, Julia spends time working on the remodel of her home, which as most know that have done such work, is an ongoing endeavor.

Jared Stevenson

Jared has been involved in tax return preparation for several years and works primarily on individual returns and those returns involving rental real estate. When not performing accounting duties, Jared keeps busy on the various rental property he owns with his brother Jacob. Since they do most work on the rental properties they own, the two of them stay very busy. Jared continues to be very involved in playing basketball at the recreational level for those times he can take a break.
