Anderson & Beam CPAs is a family-owned accounting firm located in Canvas, West Virginia. Our practice offers a wide range of services including payroll, accounts payable, tax returns, quarterlies, and financial statements. We serve individuals and business clients alike.

Anderson & Beam CPAs was established in 1997 by Elizabeth and John Anderson out of a desire to be closer to their own family. Over the years, the business has grown and now employs several business professionals, including our newest partner, Lauren Beam, CPA. Our Certified Public Accountants have over 55 years of combined experience.

Our Services

We provide a variety of services to help our clients manage their finances efficiently. These include:

• Payroll Services: We offer payroll processing, payroll tax returns, and other payroll-related services to ensure our clients are compliant with all payroll tax laws and regulations.

• Accounts Payable: Our team helps manage accounts payable by processing invoices, paying bills, and ensuring all payments are made on time.

• Tax Returns: We prepare and file individual and business tax returns, including quarterly estimates and amended returns as needed.

• Financial Statements: Our accountants prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to help our clients understand their financial position and make informed decisions.

Meet the Team

Our team consists of experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing the best service to our clients.

• Elizabeth Anderson, CPA: Elizabeth is a graduate of Nicholas County High School and lifelong resident of Canvas, WV. She has been working in the accounting field for nearly thirty years and earned her CPA designation in May of 2000.

• Lauren Beam, CPA: Lauren is a graduate of Nicholas County High School and is happy to return home to serve the community she grew up in. She earned her degrees in Accounting and Finance from West Virginia University and earned her Certified Public Accountant designation in 2018.

• Jennifer Mckinney: Jennifer is a graduate of Nicholas County High school and resident of Canvas, WV. She has served Anderson Accounting as the administrative assistant since 2016.
