Timothy H. Thurmon, Certified Public Accountants, P.C. is more than just a firm; it's a legacy built on generations of dedication to serving the financial needs of our community. Our story began in the 1950s with Buford Thurmon, who started by preparing tax returns as a side business. His unwavering commitment to accuracy and client service quickly earned him the trust and respect of the people in Lafayette County. Buford's dedication laid the foundation for what would become a family tradition.

In 1983, his son, Tim, returned home to Higginsville and took the reins of the growing business. Tim, sharing his father's passion for exceptional client service, expanded the firm's offerings and welcomed Kevin Thurmon and Beth Schlotzhauer to the team. Today, the third generation, Trent and Micah Thurmon, have joined the firm, continuing the legacy of personalized care and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction.
