Central Illinois Accounting Group (CIAG, Inc.) was founded on July 1, 2016, by Randy Atwater, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1997. Randy has extensive experience in public accounting, having practiced for over 20 years across Springfield to Havana. CIAG, Inc. serves clients throughout Menard County, all of Illinois, and beyond, catering to individuals and businesses of all sizes and backgrounds.

Our primary goal is to alleviate the stress of financial management by handling tedious but necessary accounting functions. We assist clients in maintaining government compliance with their personal finances, business practices, and reporting. Additionally, we help clients navigate tough tax and financial decisions by providing a clear understanding of their financial situation and the relevant rules and regulations.

Randy Atwater, the owner and operator, is dedicated to helping others manage their financial needs and questions. Julie Atwater, Randy's wife, is also a CPA and assists on an as-needed basis. The team also includes Sam Wenda, a recent graduate in Finance and Accounting, and Sophie Atterberry, who brings a strong attention to detail.
