Our team, led by Iain McKenzie, is composed of experienced professionals who have a deep understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles. Iain graduated from The American University in 1991 with a BSBA Management Information Systems and a concentration in Accounting. Shortly after graduation, he began his career as an accountant with a small but growing management and consulting firm, where he eventually became the controller within 17 months. During his tenure, he was responsible for managing the payroll process, overseeing a staff of 10 accountants, and handling the financial books for more than 40 remote locations.

In 2009, Iain started a new job as an account manager/bookkeeper for an IT and telecommunication reseller, where he managed inventory and continued to offer accounting services through sales entry and order management. It was during this time that he was introduced to QuickBooks and became a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
