Essentially Accounting was developed to provide the essential accounting services that small to medium-sized businesses need, allowing you to save money and focus on building your business. Our founder, Chris Freeze, has over 25 years of experience in accounting for various industries, including manufacturing, lending, retail, private equity, internet services, real estate, and construction. Chris holds a BBA in Finance and Economics from Walsh College, graduating with High Honors. Her extensive knowledge includes budgets and forecasting, acquisitions and consolidations, banking, human resources, and risk management.

We offer a range of services including bookkeeping, accounting, controller, and CFO services on an hourly or fixed fee basis. Our services include company set-up, basic bookkeeping, full-charge bookkeeping, accounting/controller services, and CFO services. We can assist with job costing, balance sheet account reconciliation, consolidated financial statements, cash forecasting, financial analysis, break-even analysis, fixed asset and depreciation management, budget preparation, loan compliance, loan amortization schedules, and more. Additionally, we provide services specific to businesses in financial distress, such as balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement preparation in accordance with Bankruptcy Court requirements.
