Judd, Holdaway and Associates has been a trusted name in accounting and financial services within the Uintah Basin for over forty years. Our roots stretch back to 1979 with the establishment of "Drollinger and Judd" by Steven J. Judd Sr., CPA, and Jim Drollinger, CPA. For over three decades, this partnership provided exceptional accounting services to a diverse clientele, building a reputation for personalized attention and unwavering quality. In 2016, Steven J. Judd Sr., joined forces with his sons Isaac R. Holdaway and Steven J. Judd Jr., to form Judd, Holdaway and Associates, carrying on the tradition of excellence while embracing new perspectives and innovations. The firm remains dedicated to serving the financial needs of individuals and businesses in the basin, offering comprehensive services tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

Meet Our Dedicated Team

At Judd, Holdaway and Associates, our team is comprised of experienced professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional client service. Robert W. Nielson, CPA, brings over 33 years of experience in accounting, tax, and consulting to our team. His expertise spans a wide range of clients, including individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates. Robert is dedicated to providing insightful guidance and support to help clients achieve their financial objectives.

Isaac R. Holdaway, CPA, is a skilled tax professional with a deep understanding of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation. He joined the firm in 2007 and has since become a respected leader in the field. Isaac is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants (UACPA), and he has served as President of the local Uintah Basin Chapter of the UACPA.

Melinda King, a seasoned accounting professional with 32 years of public accounting experience, specializes in the compilation and review of business financial statements. Her meticulous attention to detail and analytical skills ensure that financial records are accurate and reliable.

Steven J. Judd Sr., CPA, the firm's founder, brings over 42 years of experience serving the residents of the Uintah Basin. He is a member of both the AICPA and UACPA and is dedicated to providing personalized service to each of his clients. Steven is known for his commitment to helping clients make informed financial decisions.

JanaDene Putnam, our dedicated receptionist, has been an integral part of the team since 2012. With her warm personality and organizational skills, she ensures that our office runs smoothly and that clients feel welcome and valued.

DeLyle A. Ogden, CPA, brings a wealth of experience to the firm, with over 39 years in public accounting. His expertise encompasses a wide range of services, including accounting, taxation, and consulting for both individuals and businesses. DeLyle is a member of both the AICPA and the UACPA and is known for his ability to provide clear and concise financial advice.

Colleen Horrocks, a valuable member of our support staff, brings her accounting and secretarial expertise to the firm. Her dedication to accuracy and attention to detail ensures that our clients' needs are met efficiently.

Steven J. Judd Jr., CPA, joined the firm in 2010 and has since become a trusted resource for small businesses. His expertise in federal and state tax, including tax credits, allows him to help clients optimize their tax strategies and minimize their tax liabilities.

Nicole Jones, a native of Vernal, Utah, returned to her roots after completing her education, bringing her accounting skills and passion for serving her community to Judd, Holdaway and Associates.
