Meet Larry & Jessica

Our team is led by Larry Phillips, who has over 25 years of experience serving clients in a wide array of industries, including manufacturing, construction, restaurants, and agribusiness. Larry enjoys the variety that comes with public accounting and is passionate about figuring out the intricacies of a business or the details behind someone's personal financial situation to see how he can best help his clients. Larry is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), Kiwanis Club of Caledonia, and a past treasurer for Guys That Give. He also spends his time coaching baseball, participating in Spartan races, and enjoying the physical challenges at TriFit.

Jessica is an integral part of the team and helps ensure that our office runs smoothly and efficiently. Together, Larry and Jessica provide a friendly and welcoming environment for all of our clients.

Business Profile

Phillips Tax & Consulting, LLC was formed by Larry Phillips in January of 2016 as a result of prayerful reflection and a desire to better balance work and home life, as well as focus on existing client relationships. Larry's departure from his previous firm came as a surprise to everyone, but he felt that it was something God was calling him to do. Validation came in the form of each new piece of the business puzzle falling into place at every step of blind faith he took, from securing an office space in downtown Hastings, to the loyalty of the clients who made the decision to join Larry in his new venture. Larry and his family are grateful and humbled by the overwhelming support from those around them.
