With over two hundred years of cumulative experience in accounting, taxation, consulting, and auditing, our partners and staff are dedicated to maintaining a firm that serves the needs of our clients.

Our History and Promise

Our story began in 1986 when Don Williams left the national firm KPMG Peat Marwick to establish our firm. Prior to that, Mr. Williams had been a partner in the Lubbock office of KPMG Peat Marwick and a partner with Edwin E. Merriman & Co. In 1981, KPMG purchased the Edwin E. Merriman & Co. practice in Lubbock. Mr. Williams' association with Merriman & Co. began in 1960. Today, our professional staff consists of sixteen certified public accountants, including our partners.

Meet Our Management Team

Our team is led by Greg Taylor, an MBA, CPA, CVA, who has over thirty-five years of experience in public accounting, including extensive experience with agribusinesses and cooperatives. Greg has a strong background in auditing and tax return preparation, and he is well-versed in the needs of agriculture and the cooperative industry. He is a member of the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC) and has served as its national president.

Additionally, we provide audit and assurance services, as well as consulting services to support the needs of businesses and non-profit organizations in Texas and beyond.
