Accountant's Performance
The reviewer, Anne Beall, had a disappointing experience with Jack Finning, an accountant who displayed incompetence and unresponsiveness. Despite admitting to making a major error in tax filings, the accountant failed to correct the mistakes and showed a lack of effort to resolve the issue.
Communication Issues
The reviewer sent numerous emails over several months, but the accountant often failed to respond promptly. When he did respond, he repeatedly promised to correct the errors but failed to follow through.
Lack of Accountability
The accountant's lack of accountability is a significant concern. After more than a year of back-and-forth, he claimed that the taxes were correct when they were clearly not. This lack of responsiveness, unfulfilled promises, and ultimately incorrect tax filings are unacceptable.
