Child Credits: The Child Tax Credit has reverted back to $2,000 per dependent under the age of 16, while the Dependent Care Credit has reduced back to a maximum credit of $1,050 for one dependent and $2,100 for two or more dependents.
Earned Income Credit: The Earned Income Credit (EIC) has also reverted back to its original form. If you were a recipient of the EIC in 2021 but had not been a recipient in the past, you may not be eligible for the credit in 2022.
