Our founding partners, Mike and Tom Briers, have a combined 65 years of experience in accounting, finance, taxes, and business management. Our Story

The story of BriersCPA began 8,000 miles from Bonita Springs, Florida, where Mike Briers was working in the textile business in Shanghai, China. Determined to return to public accounting while relocating to a desirable part of the world, Mike discussed the idea of creating an accounting practice in Southwest Florida with his wife, Chandra, and his father, Tom. As Tom had relocated to the area a few years earlier, Bonita Springs was the logical place to start the firm. Since both Mike and Tom were experienced CPAs with international business experience and a unique story, they thought the time to start a business together was never better. They incorporated BriersCPA in August 2007, and started building relationships within the community. Today, BriersCPA continues to grow annually and has expanded to three locations to serve clients. We remain committed to bettering our services to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
