We love the complexity of taxes and working with clients, and we bring over 10 years of experience in tax and accounting to every engagement. Our founder graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in bioengineering and later earned an International MBA from the University of Hawaii. We are currently pursuing a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University to deepen our technical expertise. Our professional background includes handling regulatory affairs for several startup companies before transitioning to tax. We worked at the largest local CPA firm in Hawaii after obtaining our MBA, and we returned to the Bay Area in 2013 to work at mid-sized and small firms. That experience gave us breadth and depth in tax and client needs, and it inspired us to begin operating our own firm as of 2017.

We take on special projects when clients suspect something is wrong or want a second opinion. Our work has included tracing embezzlement from a trust and sorting out tax noncompliance after a partner stopped paying taxes. We enjoy putting pieces together to solve puzzles and get to the bottom of complex business issues.
