GAP Accounting Services, Inc. is a locally owned business located in Cottage Grove, OR, with a rich history dating back to 1987. We were formerly known as Tax Service Plus, and since our inception, we have been dedicated to providing exceptional year-round tax preparation and planning services to individuals and businesses.

Our team is comprised of experienced professionals who possess the dedication and expertise required to achieve the best results for our clients. Our History

In 1996, Louis Roner purchased the business, and over the next 20 years, he built a reputation for providing outstanding service to the community. During this time, his wife, step-daughter, and granddaughter worked for the business, making it a true family affair. In 2015, Louis's granddaughter, Crystal Hawley, took over the daily operations, and in 2016, she purchased the business, becoming the new owner.

Although Louis is no longer the boss, he continues to work for GAP Accounting Services, Inc. as a valuable team member. Since stepping into ownership, Crystal has worked tirelessly to expand the business through her exceptional tax work and accommodating customer service. She and her team create a relaxed atmosphere and personal approach to each client and their needs, making them feel valued, appreciated, and confident every step of the way.

Meet Our Team

Crystal EA, LTC co-owner

Crystal is the Co-Owner of GAP Accounting Services Inc. She has been in the tax industry since 1996 when she first started working as a receptionist and collator for Tax Service Plus. In 2000, Crystal finished tax school and became a licensed tax preparer. She worked a full-time job outside of taxes while preparing tax returns seasonally with her Grandpa-Louis Roner. In 2012, after Crystal and her husband welcomed their son, she decided to expand her licensures to better serve her clientele. After three years of intense studying and multiple exams, Crystal now has the privilege of referring to herself as both an Enrolled Agent and a Licensed Tax Consultant.

When the opportunity rolled around in 2015 for Crystal to take over the business, she was ready to step up and lead the team to continued success. Under her leadership, GAP Accounting Services, Inc. has continued to grow and thrive, offering the same exceptional service that our clients have come to expect.
