Our Story
Keith C. Austin founded our firm, originally Keith C. Austin & Associates, in 1956. Mr. Austin was a practicing attorney who decided to pursue tax accounting as his focus. As the State of Florida allowed professionals (physicians, attorneys, and accountants) to incorporate, Keith C. Austin & Associates, Chartered became the first public accounting firm to incorporate in the State of Florida. Over the years, we at Austin, Gillman & Lovano, P.L.L.C. have built a strong foundation of trust and expertise, guided by our core values of client prosperity, accuracy, and personalized attention.
Our Team
Our team of experienced professionals is led by Laura L. Gillman, a C.P.A. with extensive expertise in real estate development, like-kind exchanges, multi-state tax issues, and family succession planning. Laura is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Kristen M. Lovano, also a C.P.A., joined our team as an intern and became a partner in 2016. Her areas of expertise include estates and trusts, tax planning, and fiduciary accounting. She has experience with IRS audits of estates, family limited partnerships, qualified personal residence trusts, and family succession planning.
Landon E. Oliphant, a certified public accountant, joined our team in 2016 and received his C.P.A. license from the State of Florida in 2017. His areas of expertise include tax planning and individual tax issues.
